So yesterday I had a lot of fun completing the first of two-hundred and sixty daily paintings I’ll be creating this year.
One down, and only hundreds more to go! Coincidentally, this is also my very first painting of 2017.
In my previous blog post, I shared how I plan to challenge myself to daily painting in 30 minute intervals Monday through Friday as part of my New Year’s goals for 2017. This piece was done using Liquitex acrylic inks and paints on 9″ x 12″ stretched canvas.
I love the challenge of daily painting, it’s been like a breath of fresh air.
Here are the technical details of this piece:
Title — #260
Painting Dimensions — 9″(W) X 12″(H)
Support — Painting is created on .75″ deep gallery wrapped artist canvas.
Medium — Professional grade Liquitex acrylic paint & archival acrylic inks.
Artist Signature — Initialed by Carly Landry on the front lower right and signature on the back of the painting
Date — January 2017. Date and title are handwritten by the artist on the back of this painting
Certification — Signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity is included with this painting
As always, thanks for viewing and looking forward to sharing my next painting with you!
